Highland Hills, opened in 1959 and designed by Frank Hummel, is an 18-hole par 71 championship course that features tree-lined fairways, rolling hills and challenging greens. Highland Hills also offers a driving range with grass and mat hitting stations, two putting greens, one chipping green with a sand trap, a fully stocked pro shop, lessons available from PGA and LPGA professionals and the Backroom Grill. The course is available for corporate and private tournaments.
Mad Russian Golf Course 2100 Country Club Pkwy. (3.5 mi. south of US 34 on Colorado 257) Milliken 970-587-5157 An 18-hole Par 70-championship course located in the gently rolling and tranquil Colorado plains. Four of the holes have been recently re-designed by the Nicholas Design Group. The course also features a chipping range, putting green, driving range, pro shop and concessions. The course is available for tournaments.
Pelican Lakes Golf Course 1600 Pelican Lakes Point, Windsor 970-674-0930 The public is welcome. Play one of Colorado's newest courses at Water Valley, designed by Ted Robinson, Sr., where there is "more shoreline than any course in the world." This 18-hole championship course is located along Pelican Lakes and also features a driving range, pro shop and restaurant.
